Development Directive were appointed by APN Funds (now Dexus) to assist in the enhancement of an existing under-utilised site in Redbank Plains. Development Directive provided advice on project budgeting and development design in preparation for the lodgement of a development application over the site.

In parallel with the town planning assessment period Development Directive ran a competitive tender process to select and appoint a contractor for the works, who could deliver to a tight programme. Development directive remained as superintendent on the project to oversee the contract to deliver the project efficiently.

The Plains Car Wash is the latest facility by Sparkletown, who develop architecturally designed facilities, unlike any others. They are the only car wash facility to have been featured in architectural magazines. Maintaining a high-quality of design quality throughout the process was a key focus of the client and tenant, to ensure a successful result.
