Project Description

Metroplex Westgate – Lot 2 Warehouse is a large-scale industrial warehouse development within the premium Metroplex Westgate Estate, part of the South West Industrial Gateway (SWIG) — Brisbane's largest and most strategically located industrial area. The 23,730m² development is among the larger warehouses in the estate, providing over 22,000m² of warehouse space supported by 181 car parking spaces.

Commissioned by ISPT Pty Ltd, The Development Directive facilitated the project by optimising titling and access arrangements, securing easements to grant vehicle access to the site through the adjoining lot. The Development Directive successfully obtained code assessable Development Approval for a Material Change of Use for a Warehouse, together with Development Approval for Reconfiguring a Lot, in just over four months — achieved through early engagement with Council to expedite the approval process. The approval provisions for the warehouse to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
