Project

Gympie Regional Enterprise Business Case, Curra

Client — Gympie Regional Council
Area of Expertise — Town Planning
Location — Curra, Queensland

Project Description

The Business Case investigated industrial land use opportunities within the Gympie LGA. The investigation focused on land situated adjacent to a new interchange to the Bruce Highway, to the north of Gympie.

Following on from a review of an Industrial Land Study, Development Directive worked with Better Cities Group to deliver a high level Business Case to assist Gympie Regional Council in identifying future industrial development opportunities.

The development of the business case included land use master planning which was underpinned by planning assessment, economic analysis and strategic infrastructure design. Through analysis of key economic inputs, the team assisted Gympie Regional Council in making an informed appraisal of the opportunity, as well as the pathway forward to progressing the necessary planning and infrastructure design.
