Project Description

Development Directive has delivered a series of retail-led 7-Eleven service station developments across Queensland, from Beaudesert and Southside (Gympie) in the south-east to Mundingburra and Burdell in Townsville. Engaged by Spring Projects, we have provided Development Management and Superintendent services across a combined build value of over $12 million, working alongside head contractors including Hutchinson Builders and CASA Building Group.

Each project follows a similar brownfield redevelopment model — combining a 7-Eleven convenience store (ranging from 211sqm to 240sqm) with a multi-pump fuel forecourt and dedicated parking — while responding to the specific demands of its site and growth corridor. The Burdell development extended this model further, delivering North Queensland's first 7-Eleven alongside a Hungry Jacks drive-through restaurant on a high-exposure corner site fronting over 30,000 vehicles daily.

Across all four sites, our role has centred on managing delivery from concept through to completion — coordinating consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure each project was delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
